TechXpress - Lead Software Engineer
Developed a CMS (Content Management System) and E-Commerce application that is used on over 50 sites, such as alohashirtshop.com and guayaki.com. Took initiative to overhaul the company’s proprietary central system, taking a flimsy, task-specific application and molding it into a robust suite that saved thousands of hours of custom coding. Oversaw projects and divided project workloads amongst programmers. Worked extensively with the Sales Department to generate project specifications and time estimates. Developed primarily with a LAMP setup (Linux, Apache, mySQL, PHP).

May 2002 - September 2005

OceanFront Development - Contract Web/Database Programming for various small to mid-size businesses, both public sites (such as The Bed And Breakfast Explorer) and intranets (such as Hooked On Phonics). Worked on a wide variety of projects, creating administrative and database solutions comprised of back-end (PHP, VBScript), front-end (JavaScript, HTML, XML), and database components (mySQL, MSSQL).

Associated Students, Inc. - Web Developer. Website design, programming, and maintenance. Skills used includes PHP, mySQL, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, and project management. Developed many database enabled features, including a Classified Ads System, an Events Calendar, a Form Generator, and complex Authentication Systems. www.asi.calpoly.edu
